Wedding Hashtag

Look, I'm gonna be honest with you. No one except you and maybe your bridal party will use your hashtag before the wedding. Even then you won't use it that often. Pinterest and instagram has made you feel like you need one, but really you don't. People will you tag you by name in anything they post.

Is #skyttesthelimit too cheesy? Haha not sure how you pronounce the name but that's my thinking on the fly! My fiancé and I are using #omahoneymatrimony (his last name) if it helps you come up with something that rhymes? I think it's great to use a hashtag and post it at your wedding so you don't miss your guests little moments! Not everyone will use it, but the ones who take notice will

Why do you need a hash tag? I've been to several weddings the last few years and no one has needed a hash tag.

Honestly no one is going to care. Like the first comment said people probably won't even use it. Not to mention that hashtags for pictures I thought were meant to easily find pictures and that #fallinginlove will have like a million posts. Stick to something short and simple because long is obnoxious. Use your last names and the year and call it a day.

Make this a game at your shower. And read the CG's where this info is provided!!!

We're not being mean. It's not our problem if new users fail to read the CG's. If I took a shot for the amount of times this question popped up, I'd be chronically wasted.

Hey, Meredith! Grats on your engagement and welcome! I'm new, as well, and my FH and I are actually getting married a day before you two. Anyway, I think a hashtag is a cute idea. If people can use a hashtag to document the lives of their babies or furbabies, then a fun hashtag to look back on your wedding can be done, too. Good luck and have fun!

My advice is find a hashtag that isn't overused! Type the hashtag into instagram to make sure there aren't already tons of pictures. That helped us decide on ours
