Wedding in April?

April can be pretty unpredictable, and the temperature isn't usually above the 60s in Pennsylvania. It's also pretty rainy of course. If you go for April you're more likely to need to resort to your rain plan or cold weather plan for your ceremony. I think you may need to decide whether it is more important to you to have an April wedding or an outdoor ceremony (even though it can rain during any month, of course!).

April is definitely unpredictable however if you have the right venue that is indoor/outdoor possibilities and options, then you won’t have a problem! I had it rain at my cousins wedding in the middle of August and it was still super fun even though we had to move the ceremony inside ! I also have that fear though too and I feel ya :/ I’m getting married next May and super nervous about rain!

I'm getting married April 20th...we're hoping for sunny weather...but we have a backup plan just in case. let's not jinx anything

It’s definietely hard trying to plan two years in advance and not wanting to get married with the usual dates everyone chooses! I think we’re going to wait to see how April is this year and then decide if we plan to change to an indoor ceremony and reception or change the date. Thank you so much ladies!
