Wedding in July

Hey Kasyah! I looked in the Florida Honeymoons sections on WeddingWire and the "when to go" section says October - April has fair temperatures and is outside peak hurricane season. July and August are the hottest months in FL but if you're inside in the a/c your guests should be comfy. Our ideas section on Florida Weddings may help you plan too!

Unfortunately we had to reschedule 9 days before our big day and chose July since the rest of the year is either peak hurricane season or too cold for our liking.

It is going to be very hot (Also getting married in Destin and spent all my summers growing up there as a kid) Humidity is a part of Florida's charm. If you're near the water though there's usually a beautiful sea-breeze and having some areas that are in the a/c will help you and your guests cool off. Can I ask what your venue is? I'm loving seeing so many other Destin brides.

We're getting married at The Bay House as well!!! Truly a dream venue. There seems to be SO much shade around and the house itself will have the a/c so I honestly think you're going to have a fantastic day. I can't wait to see/hear all about it. Getting some intel from real Bay House brides will be so helpful for us. Will you be staying at The Cottages?
