Wedding Info

My wedding ceremony starts at 4pm with music starting at 3:30pm. We need to be done by 2pm for pictures and completely hidden by 3pm. My hair/make up starts at 7am for a total of 6 of us. Is that to early to start getting ready for the wedding?

Is it 1 person doing make-up and hair for the 6 of you?? If so it takes about an hour per person so in reality giving yourself 7 hours to do 6 hours worth of work isn't really a bad idea!!

Thanks for the replies! I also want to say before we get completely dressed we are doing a photo session in the flannels I got them as gifts as well. So, there will be a break before we get changed and do the photos in our dresses.

We had a 5:30 ceremony and started getting ready at 8, so I don't think that's too early. There were 8 of us that got both hair and makeup done, and I did not want to be rushed.

You should talk to your photographer. They will make your timeline for the day. They should have enough experience to tell you how long everything will take. A 2nd shooter also factors into this. We were going to hire 1 photog and the day was going to be really packed but with a 2nd shooter things free up more.

Also talk to your HAMU team; will you have multiple people or just one person?

We started at 10 AM, for our 5 PM ceremony. I think as long as you provide breakfast and lunch for all the bridesmaids, you'll be fine.

Nope, it’s actually perfect timing. I have 8 in mine and ceremony starts at same time but have to be ready by 2 for pictures. I’ll be starting hair and make up at that time too. You’re good.
