Wedding insurance for non us residents / citizens

Hi,


I'm hoping to get some help with finding a suitable wedding insurance and liability cover.


We are UK citizens who will be getting married in the US next year. The UK insurers which I have researched are not able to provide liability cover for overseas weddings and the US insurers seem to be restricted to US citizens/residents.


Has anyone come across this before and do you have any advice on any insurers who may be able to provide cover for non residents/citizens?

    Our wedding venue helped us with this. They have a specific person they use and just included the cost in the venue price. I would ask the venue for some help. Maybe they know someone or would know a little more about non-citizens issue.

    Have you checked out WedSafe? They cover weddings in the US, and don't seem to have restrictions on who can purchase.

    I would also recommend you reach out to WedSafe and see if this is something they may be able to provide or point you in the direction of someone who would provide insurance.

    When you mentioned you spoke to UK insurers, did you speak with travel insurance companies in particular? They may be more willing to insure a destination wedding.
