Wedding insurance in Italy?

Hi Jessica! Have you checked WedSafe as well? You can also reach out to your own insurance company (car, home owners, etc.) to see if they have wedding insurance you can add!

Or if you have a wedding planner they should be able to assist you with this!

View Quoted Comment We haven’t found any yet. Lucky our venue will give us money back for cancellations based on how far in advance we let them know. I’m also recommending our guest buy travel insurance with medical coverage to cover any cancellations or medical emergencies.

Hey there, I am experiencing exactly the same thing. I have searched for hours and every company who seemingly used to provide wedding abroad insurance, has temporarily paused it. Wed Safe, John Lewis, Travelers - they are all either only providing UK coverage, or have paused wedding insurance all together. If anyone finds anything, I would be so grateful for advice!

Update: just found a company that provide insurance for weddings anywhere in the world except US, Canada, and a few other countries - Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance

I am also looking for insurance for Italy in 2023! I checked out Dreamsaver and they seem to have TERRIBLE reviews...

Has anyone found any others!?

Also posting on here as well since we're getting married in Italy in Sep 2023 and running into the same issues. We also have this question out to our wedding planner who is based in Tuscany. For what it's worth, it does look like the Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance includes coverage for cancellation due to COVID within 10 days of the wedding.
