Wedding invitations Help!

Jennifer, on December 23, 2020 at 2:14 AM Posted in Planning 0 10
I just receive my wedding invitations, but I didn’t get the front envelope printed. Example “ Kindly deliver to” With their name and address. Did you ladies get calligraphies, Avery clear label, or went to staples?
Any suggestions???

We bought clear labels and printed them ourselves. (Both of us have not-great handwriting, mine is... nearly illegible.)

Saved a ton of money, looked just fine.

    ...People throw out envelopes, anyway.

Hand addressed, like all personal, non-business letters.

We had the addresses for our invitations printed by the company, but with our save the date envelopes, we ran the envelopes through our printer and printed directly on them. I would recommend this if it's an option for you. Avery labels are another great option, I just don't prefer the look of them.

Avery Labels are fine! If one of you has good handwriting, handwriting them is also just fine. People throw the envelopes away anyways and pay no mind to how the addresses were put on there, so you really can't go wrong. Just choose the option that's easiest and affordable for you.

We just handwrote them 🤷‍♀️. Neither of us have the best handwriting, but it's legible. As a PP said, people throw out the envelope right away.

Just hand wrote them. We didn’t have too many. To me, it’s a waste for something that literally goes straight in the trash. If I had a printer at home I may have printed them on Avery labels. If you have a lot I’d try and do labels to save your hand. But, this isn’t something to stress over.

Avery labels always get smeared (and look like corporate mass mailings) and are illegible by the time they go through the postal delivery system, if they even reach the destination. Handwritten is best is you can't get them preprinted directly onto the envelope.
