Wedding Invitations

Carlin, on March 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM Posted in Planning 1 9
What site do you all go for your wedding invitations? I used zazzle for my save the date? And what type do you use? I personally like the two in one where you tear off the bottom both my mom and fiancée think they cheap looking.

I don’t know what you mean by two in one but I’m getting mine off basic invite

    Magnet Street

You can personalize and also order a free sample. Right now they are having 70% off sale plus free shipping!

We used Zola for our Save the Dates (postcards) and Minted for our wedding invites (invitation suite). Both sites regularly run sales/promotions (20%, 40%, 50% off). Minted does have some really nice foldout/tear away options (search “all-in-one”), but we decided on individual cards with a belly band, as we thought they looked more formal (we are having a black tie optional wedding though).

We used shutterfly and went with the traditional RSVP card. It was just easier for us. We were able to customize a template, but I think they do design-your-own as well. I know a lot of people here use Etsy sellers as well.

Thank you so much for that recommendation! I took advantage of it and got my invites for way less than I budgeted for. Thanks for sharing that.

Yay! So glad it helped - I saved over. $200 on our save the date magnets. I'm hoping to hit that big sale again when we are ready to order the invites next year!

Annsbridalbargains.com has a wonderful selection at dirt cheap prices including the style you are talking about.

Etsy has several if you want to print at home. They are more expensive though. You can design your own from the thousands of free templates on Canva.com We looked at Zazzle and while there are gorgeous designs, we hate the font selections. If there was a way to upload your own fonts, we would be all for that. Otherwise we’re looking at designing them with a local print shop to get the fancy expensive look that you find on Ceci New York without the expensive price because no one will be keeping them.

I used Etsy and they were really nice, came within about 10 days and the seller made sure to send proofs which was great.

Having said this, as we went for simple card invites, I think I could have made them myself in Canva and printed them out on some nice card (or paid a local print shop to print them). Hindsight, huh!
