Wedding Invitations

Hey my COVID-19 brides! 😭

Unfortunately, I know some of you have already postponed your weddings or are in the process of postponing now. I’m just curious to know what you’re planning on doing with your already printed invitations and what your plan is for new ones? We all know invitations aren’t cheap and the thought of getting rid of mine brings me pain, especially when I factor in the money that was spent and the trees that were used to make them. I’m thinking I’ll be using e-invites this time around. I can’t bring myself to pay for them again.

E-vites are a great idea. I have the same dilemma as my original date is 4/24. I notified people electronically about the rescheduled date of 9/18/20. It's so unbelievable that this is happening to so many people

Hi! I was wondering this too. I have all mine printed, we are likely going to reschedule (deciding this coming week) but I feel like it’s such a waste to just recycle them all. I’d rather at least people get to see them first. So we’re thinking we’re gonna send them out and have our change the date in them? Idk seems silly to send them, but also seems silly and makes me sad they’ll all go unseen! At least sending them they’re seen before they go to waste? Idk haha I’ve been thinking about it a lot and can’t come to a good resolution!

After all the time and money spent on invitations and postage, I couldn't bear the thought of just tossing them. Plus, ours were already sealed and stamped months ago so we bought clear labels and put them on the backs of the envelopes letting guests know things might change and to stay updated on website. In the end, we changed June wedding to August, updated website, and electronically notified guests. Still worried August is too soon...

I feel the same way mine are ready to go and they were expensive I’m not sure what to do I still
Plan to give some to close friends so atleast they can have them as a memory but there are so many that are wasted.
