Wedding Invites

Mckenzie, on November 7, 2023 at 12:32 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

My fiance and I are having a small intimate ceremony with just immediate family (parents, grandparents, siblings (significant others) nieces and nephews. Should we send out formal invitations with date time and location or can we just tell them about it? It would only be about 10 invites not sure what proper etiquette is for this?

Yes to make it official. Without a physical invitation, some people don’t take it seriously, and digital/verbal invites are viewed as casual/optional. Also some family and friends may save them as keepsakes.

You should send formal invites and it’ll also be nice as a keepsake or you can take nice photos with your rings / vow books and such like we did
