Anyone freaking out yet ? So close ! If you’re in Virginia and are freaked out about the changes that just happened last Monday from being able to have 250 people to now only 25 !! Is this only for the holidays will it change beginning of the year ? Or any other states with similarities and are freaking out ! What are you guys doing ? Back up plan ? Changing date ? “I refuse to change” HELP give me your opinion/ideas. Speaking to venue today about options. Haven’t ordered invites just yet because idk what actually we are going to do !

I am in Maryland and our restrictions just got worst as well. My big wedding is March 2021 as well but we decided to have a minimony on our original anniversary date just in case we couldn't have our big wedding in March.

My husband and I decided that if there are restrictions like no dancing, only 25 people, etc then we will just postpone the big wedding. We already had our intimate 35guests minimony so now we are looking forward to celebrate with out family and friends who weren't able to attend the minimony.

I’m a month after you (133 days) & live in AZ. I just talked to my fiancé about this. We have a Plan B set up. We’re getting married regardless on the date we chose (4/3/21)-we love the ring to it! The only thing that might change is the guest list. I have our invitations in the closet & don’t plan on mailing them out until January. Hopefully, this vaccine will help our current situation!

Yeah I herd you guys are shutting or enforcing the restrictions even more not sure haven’t been up to date. Yeah because what’s the point of you can’t do any of that. I was even thinking about getting something in the mountains and bring a few people along make it like a little weekend trip if that’s the case. But that’s a good idea having a minimony and then celebrating with it with people you haven’t. See and my fiancé really wants to get married in a church since his father is no longer with us and he was married in church

Same ! I told my fiancé we are getting married that day regardless if it’s only the two of us and our parents by all means. Ugh I hope so because I didn’t think I would have to start stressing out maybe I’m just overthinking it.

I’m right behind you in March and in the DMV area. I’m on pins and needles. I’m going to wait until January to make a decision but no matter what I will be getting married on my date. Even with close family it would be impossible to have a wedding since we both come from huge families so we would have to change the date and just elope with our parents and kids.

Yes our governor does not play when the numbers get high lol but I don't blame him because we all want this to be over and go back to a somewhat normal life.

Breath! I think being female, we are pre wired to over think EVERYTHING! My fiancé still hasn’t decided on groomsmen or style of suit! Talk about stressing! Finally, my aunt told me “it didn’t really matter what type of suit he’s wearing- YOU are going to steal the show!”

I refuse to change the date as well. We'll just marry at the courthouse or if that's closed then we'll hire an officiant to sign the marriage license.

Same ! I was calm and collected until NOW. Yeah all in al I think we will just have our groomsmen and bridesmaid and our parents worse case scenario. But hopefully by January we have some news although that’s cutting it really short.

Yeah. Fiancé loves the mountains so somewhere up in the mountains I think would be good but this is so uncertain. Makes me kind of sad. But what can we do absolutely nothing.

Yeah I doubt we will ever go back to normal. And if you think about it numbers are becoming higher with a lot more people getting tested. And some of us have probably had it and didn’t even know we did. But I’m sure hopefully things will change.

January is definitely cutting it short but I’m trying to be super optimistic lol. It’s the only way to curb my anxiety about all of this. My venue has tons of Covid protocols in place which we inquired about before signing the contract it’s now just about what the governor says.

I believe if people who believe it’s all a conspiracy would actually give a damn we could curb the numbers. This also goes for the idiots who thought oh the numbers went down let’s go back to the way things were. Ughhh makes me so frustrated.

Haha yes I agree. Learned that when I became a mom nine years ago that we overthink a lot. Haha at least mine has groomsmen but suit not yet. We have an idea though. But you still would like him to look nice haha. Could you imagine

Yeah exactly everything depends on the governor but we shall see. I’m also trying to be very optimistic.

I had to force mine to decide on groomsmen and now I will be forcing him to decide on attire. He’s super lax about everything and with Covid delays on delivering certain things I don’t want to wait until the last minute and he can’t get anything. He’s a large guy so he has to have everything ordered. We ran into this issue when he was in another wedding.

EXACTLY! When we 1st starting planning, I was trying to force him to make a decision, turn more I forced it , the more he dug his heels in. Finally, I made a promise that I wouldn’t bring it up until January. Let’s face it, guys are easier to get stuff then girls. However, I did bring it up a few days ago. Told him, with all this COVID crap going on, you really need to get your suit. Plus your groomsmen need to get theirs too. He agreed & “supposedly” started looking.

That's why I said a somewhat normal life lol And I am sure some people had it without knowing, just like with the flu and other viruses. Hopefully this vaccine they are talking about will actually work and help
