Wedding location suggestions Florida June 2021

Stephanie, on June 26, 2020 at 4:27 PM Posted in Florida Planning 0 17
Im stressing myself out. We want a location within 1 hr of Orlando. We want beach ceremony and inside reception. We plan for 20 people or so.

I feel like everything is almost 200.00 pp for reception.
Wr are considering Disney still. However we want to explore all options keeping it at 8k or less. Its hard to plan destination type wedding.

Hi Stephanie! There are a ton of beachfront hotels and restaurants if you head towards Titusville! A restaurant with a private dining room might end up being the best bang for your buck!

You can also use our local venue search and check out some of the officiants who offer beach ceremony packages:

Hi Stephanie!! I agree about Titusville! Maybe check out some places there or even Clearwater. That's not too far away from Orlando!

I would check out Winter Haven as that is also close to Orlando and there are some very beautiful venues there and some of them have elopement specials at Bella Collina it's in a state it's not the beach. Also I would suggest Titusville like some other people say or maybe just make the two-hour drive into Tampa Bay because that's where I live and that's the Gulf of Mexico and there are plenty of officiant that will charge really good prices for beach weddings and provide seating for $200 and then you have a lot of restaurants and you can just stay the night in a beachfront hotel afterwards.

Ok my next question is we also considered Disney. We can pull that off in our price range. My question is based on how pretty those weddings are and let's be honest you know the quality of what you get is nice. Can i oull off something as nice also stress free!! If i go with a regular vendor i will not know the food quality photography getting decorations and floral. I have to hope its as good as they say.

Disney will be in your 8K price range? Not trying to discourage you but that seems very hard to believe! I'm in North Florida and are wedding is about 12K with everything total including venue , food , dress , decorations etc. All of those things add up. Just be sure to include those things in your budget . If you love Disney that much what about just doing a Disney theme or going to Disney for your honeymoon?

Oh okay well that sounds perfect! If you can get a total package and not have to worry about other vendors then I'd say go for it! Would you have a DJ or any music?

Sounds like a plan! And oh wow I use to want to get married at Disney but saw their prices and thought I wouldn't be able to afford it! Plus my FH isn't a Disney fan so it wouldn't be meaningful to him. But it's great to know that they lowered their prices to make them more affordable for brides!

So why don't you look for beach locations as other options since your fiance is interested in that. And I'm not sure if Disney reception food is good. What options are they giving you for your budget?

I’m in Cocoa and currently looking at venues for February. Try the Cocoa Beach Pier, Cocoa Beach Community Church, R&C Beach Weddings, or International Palms. The Pier is actually pretty affordable! Good luck!

Maybe Paradise Cove? It’s not an ocean but it is a real beach. I think with a party that size it could accommodate you inside for reception.
For Disney- there are also options with third parties like paddlefish and house of blues that work with a variety of budgets.

Check out Coast d'este in Vero Beach. Beach ceremony and indoor reception for a decent price. We looked there and it was nice but didn't fit our aesthetic. https://www.costadeste.com/verobeach_weddings/
