If you want a timeless look and you’re really afraid of having regrets I’d keep it simple, pearl or diamond stud earrings a plain veil and simple classy shoes.


If you’re going for some more bling I’d get a sparkly belt, a tiara, embellished shoes and a omg cathedral veil.

I would also think about how you like your hair normally. For instance I always hated updo on me so I knew that wasn't what I'd do

Yes me!! That’s what I worry about too is regretting... on the other hand I just wait and be patient about it... look at pictures, gather ideas etc!

I was clueless too at first. What usually helps me is looking through pinterest and honing in on what appeals to my personal taste. I have pinterest boards for dresses, shoes, hair, jewelry, makeup, etc.


The best way to avoid regret is to trust your taste and try not to be influenced too much by trends or other people's onions.

I had a plan for jewelry and then my sister surprised me by getting earrings made to look like my engagement ring so I'll be wearing those on my wedding day. They're also aquamarine (my birthstone) so I have the "something blue" going for me. I probably won't wear a necklace. For hair, I decided on an up do because I have pretty fine hair and it doesn't grow very long so it just looks flat when it's down. My face also looks thinner when it's up. For makeup, I'm going to go with more neutral tones but tell the MUA that I want people to know that I'm wearing it... if that makes sense. These are the shoes I chose:
