Wedding Makeup!??

So recently I went and got a trial done for my wedding makeup.. I wasn’t “Inlove” with it. Every time I reach out to someone about makeup they do not like to reply to me.. I did have my makeup done for our engagement photos last summer.. ugh how does anyone decide on who to do their wedding makeup!? It’s such a special day I just want everything to be perfect and I feel the makeup is such a big deal!! If anyone has any tips or suggestions I’d appreciate it! This is so stressful

    I totally agree! It's stressful! If you don't love the look you don't want to feel unsatisfied the day of your wedding! It's extra hard when people don't get back to you. I've found that the two things that make it easier is trying phone calls rather than online contact, and having a specific idea for things that you can share with the artist beforehand to make sure you're both on the same page.

    I would call but what is helping me choose who to reach out to is checking their social media to see their work and if I like it. Call after the new year.

    I would call them or send them a personal email rather than through WeddingWire. Alsoz if you have been messaging around the holidays then it makes sense that no one has replied. If you weren't happy with your trial then I would either try to change what you didn't like about it or go with someone else.

    I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling to find someone for your wedding makeup.

    When did you reach out to the different artists? Do you think it may be folks taking some time off over the holidays which is causing the delay in them replying?
