So I was watching Friends and came across the where Ross says Rachel's name instead of Emily's at their wedding. It also reminded me of a Bridezilla's episode that I saw where the officiant kept pronouncing the brides name wrong. Kinda funny! Yet horrifying at the same time. Any other wedding...

I was at my bosses wedding about 14 years ago, and her flower girl did what many do. she started walking down the isle, made it about 2 rows then sat down with her grandparents.

my MOH said the same thing happened at at least one other wedding she stood up at.

but out of all the weddings that I've heard of, this is the one that will forever take the cake! hmmm...wonder what cake problems they had?

At one of my FSILs wedding the officiant purposely kept saying her now husbands name wrong. his name is eric and he called him like 3 or 4 other names on purpose and would laugh for awhile each time.

At my brother's wedding, the very elderly, frail priest kept referring to my sister-in-law as Yoko during the ceremony (her name is Yuko). My brother stopped him to whisper "It's YU-ko", at which point the priest started referring to her as Yokum. They just gave up after that but we all got a good laugh. We were just happy the priest made it through the ceremony!

Note to self- remind DJ that Nguyen = "Win"

At my wedding, DH and I had written our own vows and I *completely* forgot what I was supposed to say! I fumbled along with the 'gist' of it, and then he started with, "I love your boogery sneezes..." yes, at our *wedding*. I was ready to hit him with my bouquet, thinking, "Dude, this is a super-casual wedding, and you can't even be serious for the *vows*?!" but then he got all choked up, talking about how he wanted to spend his life with me, so I forgave him and did NOT whack him with my flowers. Smiley sexy A friend was getting married at a golf course, when suddenly, in the middle of the vows, over the PA someone announced, Would the Green party come to the tee, please? Green party to the tee." Giggles and smiles all around, but they're still married, 10 years later, so no harm done.

At my bil's wedding 2 years ago my sons were ring bearers. My youngest was 18 months and as my bil was about to start his vows he yells out "uh-oh!"

The last wedding we went to was right on the water (a bay) and right in the middle of their ceremony, two LOUD jet ski's went by and then looped around and went by again. No one could hear what they were saying when those dang things came around. It kinda stunk.

I went to a wedding where they couple apparently hired a sub par baker. The cake didn't have the right support and I watched is ever so slightly start to tilt. Then almost collapse. The brides brother and I managed to get the DOCs attention and they removed it before it hit the floor. No cake to cut for her. The bride took it in stride though. Good thing it was an Italian wedding and they had a dessert bar!

    Lesson: research your bakers experience
