Wedding night- hotel or Airbnb?

We went home. Our honeymoon wasn't until 5 months later.

We nearly stayed at a hotel, but since no one took our hotel blocks, it was too expensive... I'm glad we went home, it was much nicer to sleep in and not worry about a check out time.

I would sleep at home. Never saw the point of paying money to stay in a hotel in my local area.

You could always do a honeymoon within 6 months later. It can still be in your same state or within a 3 hour drive.

The plan we currently have in place is just do a long weekend at the hotel we normally escape to when we want a break. It'll be less than 30 min away from our apartment but it the idea of being away that is nice. The room has a whirlpool and fireplace and a way for us to hook up a laptop for streaming. Maybe we'll do something later but the weekend after the wedding will be us in a hotel enjoying us.

We slept in a cabin on our wedding night. I always prefer Airbnb’s to hotels. They are more private and offer you more space and flexibility during your stay.

We wanted to be able to order room service and not have to worry about cleaning up. We are then moving to an Airbnb cabin on Monday after our wedding for our honeymoon.

Either would be a great option but I would probably do a hotel. You get pampered (in a way) lol.

I would def go for a hotel! Have a little glam and pampering to celebrate!
