Wedding nightmare

I had my first one awhile back. I ended up having to wear like a satin nightgown that I borrowed because my dress never made it and I didn't have time to buy a new one. Our entire wedding party never showed up. Our venue was overbooked and we didn't get a refund so we ended up having to do it inside of some random house. It was super packed because it was in the living room and my hair looked like I had just woken up. I had no wedding shoes so I ended up using like some open back slipper heel things with the little fluff on top. For some reason my fiance was PERFECTLY fine in a suit and ready to go AND we also didn't have an officiant! I don't even know if we had food lol

I had my first one a few weeks ago. I dreamt that I took a nap following the ceremony and missed the entire reception. Guests were mad at me because I wasn't there to direct music, grand entrance, etc.

Wow now that sounds awful lol. I'm sure this won't be my last one.

I had my first one when I first started planning. I was so relieved that they went away for a while but returned this week as my day is quickly approaching(9 days???). 2 nights ago I dreamed that everyone kept pulling us so many ways that by the time we got to enjoy ourselves the lights were coming on and it was over. We hadn't gotten to dance or take pics in the photobooth or anything. I was crushed and started bawling crying in front of everyone. YIKES!!!

Wedding nightmare is so common. Is it something you're anxious about?

Not necessarily but I think it's just because our engagement photos are coming up and the 1 year mark so now everything is becoming more real.

About wrong flowers, wrong venue, no one there, pretty much any horror story about weddings I had nightmares of.
it’s gets better after the wedding! I’ve had one about a week after (which was odd lol), but none since then.

I’ve had so many since February. After the wedding I’m sure I’ll have nightmares about that day because that’s just what my brain does.

I have it every week.. i talked to my friend who recently had a wedding and she said its normal because she had it too before her wedding...

I’ve had a few. The last one was 30 mins before our ceremony was to start but no one was there and there was a giant bouncy house in the room where the ceremony was. We ended up being at the wrong location and as my dad is trying to get us to the correct venue, my mom starts crying because she doesn’t have earrings.

Wow!!! I also thought it was just me!!! i had my first nightmare last Thursday and I came into work hysterical!!! it was awful, I had on a black wedding dress, the groomsmen all had on the wrong tux with hideous cummerbunds, I was walking around my ceremony fully dressed in this awful black wedding dress trying to fix the decorations because they were not right!!! Mind you the ceremony hadn't started and we were late and everyone was staring at me and began leaving before we even said I do. It was soooo bad. I hope this isn't a frequent occurance.

I thought wedding nightmares were an exaggeration until I started having them! They can feel so real

They are the worst! I used to get them a lot. And they're coming back now that we are 2.5 months away.

My advice is schedule your wedding planning and plan a special wind down time for yourself as well. When your mind is constantly on the planning of your big day, it passes into your dreams.
