Just wondering if anyone else has done this - or what you think about this? We have a small bridal party (MOH, Best Man, 2 Ring Bearers, and 1 Flower Girl) - I did proposals for all of them (haven't given the kids theirs yet though) and they were just small "will you be..." (I added a picture - and they look bigger, but they are actually pretty tiny). Anyways we know we want our pastor to be our officiant, and I know he just waiting for us to ask (we have had a long engagement) - I wouldn't normally do this for an officiant, but we are very close to him, and so I kind of wanted to do some type of keepsake and I finally found something that I liked on etsy, that is appropriate and something I think he would like. I know I don't HAVE to do this lol but I want to...
I am just having trouble deciding what to put on the bookmark - in the picture it has initials, and I thought about doing ours and the date - but then I thought it would be kind of dumb, after the wedding? I personally am not a fan of bridal party gifts that are labeled with their title - because I know if I got a cup that said "bridesmaid" instead of my name, I probably wouldn't use it very much... So what do you think? Should I just put his name or initials, and then maybe some type of scripture? Or should I do our initials and date (as it is in the picture) and a scripture?
