Wedding party gifts with old date

Due to a tight budget I don’t think I’d reorder. It’s kind of a unique/fun/cute reminder of everything it took to make the big day happen (much cuter and more fun down the road and many years from now because Lord knows this is stressful as heck.) 😬

I actually think it's ok not to reorder. that date still holds some significance and so i don't feel like anyone will think anything of it

So I haven’t ordered any gifts with the date on it, but I am ordering my fiancé’s ring tonight and having it engraved with our planned wedding date. Our goal is to get married that day (it’s in July but the longer this goes on the more nervous I get), even if it’s just us and a few other people, but if for some reason it doesn’t happen on that day it’s still our wedding date and I want to remember that. It adds to your story and commemorates this crazy time we’re all in right now! So I say no, don’t change a thing about the gifts you’ve already purchased!

Don't worry about asking us your questions, Tiffany! There is a lot going on in the world right now, of course, but we have plenty of space here for your questions and concerns. Around the community, I'm seeing a lot of couples sticking with their dated items and not reordering, whether they are gifts or favors - save the money for something else, everyone else will totally understand
