Wedding Party Gifts

Kayla, on June 18, 2021 at 1:18 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 4
Hi all!
So I have a question..what are some ideas for bridal party gifts? On my side, I have 3 girls, a guy, and an 11 year old jr bridesmaid. Everyone else is in their 20s and the guy is my cousin (he’s also gay for reference, not into stereotypical dude stuff). On my fiancé’s side, he has 4 groomsman, one is 19, the rest are over 21. What are some ideas for gifts?? I can’t spend a ton of money but I want it to be something meaningful.

Are we also supposed to get our parents/grandparents gifts? Confused on that part.
Thanks!!

You could always give each person a gift that caters to their personal interests/hobbies! Just make sure to try and keep everyone's gift around the same price amount!

For my ladies, I got them all a really nice satin pj set, a stemless wine glass, trinket tray, and I'm going to write each one a note. Not sure what FH is doing for his dad & groomsmen, but the personalized gifts can also work for them! I always suggest staying away from things with wedding titles and wedding details/dates on them.

I don't think it's necessary to get the grands gifts, at least I've never heard of anyone we know doing this. We plan on giving our parents a gift from both of us, which will be a photo framed of us and them from the wedding portraits! We'll put an engagement photo in the frame, but write a card letting them know that it will be replaced with a wedding photo when they are done!

For my bridesmaids I'm most likely going with personalized spa boxes with their favorite scents, and probably a couple other little things that I haven't come up with yet. I'm waiting until it gets closer to come up with something for my junior bridesmaid because kids' interests can change so quickly. I think it's a good idea to try and keep things personalized even if you're going for a similar theme, and like SHY said, don't include titles and wedding details on their gifts.

We'll probably end up gifting each set of parents a wedding album, but I don't think we'll do anything else.

Etsy is a great place to shop for these. I got all mine on Etsy. Here is what I’m giving the bridal party.

Bridesmaids: Tumbler, Bracelet, Make up bag with their names (I will fill it up with pedialytes, lip palm, tissue, blotting paper and Tylenol), robes, their favorite mini bottle of alcohol or beer
Groomsmen: Toiletries bag with their initials (with pedialytes, Tylenol, deodorant in it), koozies with their initials, Sunglasses that says groomsmen, matching suspenders (to go with their suit)

I got my bridal party journals with their names and flower of their birth month on the front, bought from Etsy. I love that each journal is customized for the person receiving it. They are also getting necklaces.

We got gifts for our parents, I picked out gifts for the mothers and fiance picked gifts for the dads. Moms are getting necklaces that match the dresses they picked, and wine tumblers that say "Mother of the Bride"/"Mother of the Groom". I'm excited to give out the gifts!
