I am wanting to make information packets for my wedding party so "nothing can go wrong" even though it probably will! (: So far i'm thinking of including the following:

- Hotel & night before information

(groomsmen & groom will share a room, bridesmaids & bride will share a room)

- Rehearsal dinner info.

- Attire info

(this includes what where, when, & how much)

- MOH & Best Man responsibilities

- Wedding day itinerary

- Hair & makeup look & cost

- Some favorite of theirs

(i'm doing a meet the wedding party picture frame for the reception)

- Directions from the hotel to the venue

- Contact information for mother of the bride & each other

If you can think of anything else, please let me know! I'm completely up for suggestions!

This is a good idea. I might put something similar together and send them out to the bridal party right before the wedding. :-)

I've recently learned google docs and they're freakin' amazing.

If you overload your friends with paper, you might have some lost stuff or raised eyebrows. So… perhaps try the following:

    1) Set up a file in google docs (they're free). In it…

    2) For favorites, either create a document or spreadsheet so the people call fill in the blanks themselves or create a google survey and have them fill it out (the results will be dumped into a spreadsheet for you).

    3) Make separate files for directions, attire, etc. and title each document with what it is. That way people can go in there when need be and access it. You can make documents read-only or allow them to edit it. You can also have a question-and-answer document so that they can ask questions and you can answer it (which might be helpful if many have the same question - that way you won't get swamped with the same questions).

^ that's a really good idea! I never knew about that. Are there ways to link the docs to my website?

I love the google docs suggestion! I'm doing something similar but primarily for the day of so people know where they need to be and at what times.

Yes. When you make the doc/folder and hit "share," a link will pop up. You can copy and paste that link on your website.

I would, however, email them the link rather than have it on a public website.
