Wedding party intros on website???

I honestly don't think many people actually read these. If you must put something, write about how you met.

I'm thinking about just skipping it because people don't read it anyways. I do like the how you met idea, though.

I actually read them. I think the how you met stories are cute.

I just put their name and "maid of honor" or "bridesmaid"

I didn't have the patience to write a bio about them. But if you want to make it simple, you could just do a quick how you know them thing. "Sister of the bride" "Childhood best friend" "College roommate" , etc.

I briefly thought about including a WP list on our website, but then decided it really didn't need to be there. Anyway, when I was contemplating it, I figured I would put a sentence or two about how or where we met, and a short, funny/memorable story about our friendship.

Ex: L.B., MOH - S met L through the student run dance company they both joined their freshman year of college and became roommates afterwards. One time, S and L had an "Alien Party," where they made tin foil hats while they sat and watched movies with aliens in them. Any time an alien appeared on the screen, they shot tin foil bullets at it with their tin foil guns.

That's a true story. No alcohol or drugs were involved.

I'm not doing it.

I personally enjoy reading them, but I know not many people will. One caution: ask before putting out information about someone else!

I don't think anyone cares too much about the bridal party. Skip it.

I included them. FH let his GM write their own and they all basically just said how they met and what a great friend he is to them. For the BM I included their nickname (since I have a special nick name for all but one BM), then I started with their relation to me (friend, cousin, or sister). Then I said what they do (student, counselor, etc). Then I put their interest. In total it was about 3-4 sentences each. I liked it bc it allowed ppl to get to know them and gives them a little recognition since we didn't have programs.

Thank you everyone! I'll start picking away at it.... And I have already checked with BMs and they are fine with having info and pics of them up there (they're picking and sending me their favorite pictures of themselves!).

Skip the bio ! Just keep their picture and name

I just did pictures and titles, no bio.

I kept them short. I included how we met, what they do for a living, and where they live.

The description is required, how did you get around that?
