Wedding Pet Peeves

What is your #1 pet peeve when it comes to weddings? Mine is wrinkled linens. I've seen a lot of that in the pictures I've been looking at.

    In general? The price tags.

Otherwise, I totally agree about linens that aren't ironed. I notice them in pictures ALL the time.

There’s a kind of crass (but I think hilarious) saying that I’ve used to remind myself in several weddings I’ve been in. Reader beware:

“Pubes not boobs.” It rhymes and is easy to remember and gets the bouquet lower! Haha!

Groomsmen/men standing with their hands folded or cupped in front of them. It looks awkward. The hands behind the back look is way nicer!

Don't worry. I was also confused. I think it's totally up to the couple. I dont owe the most intimate moment of the day to my guests. It's creepy to me that people feel robbed of that moment if we choose to enjoy a few moments of intimacy prior to the ceremony on a day that is so chaotic and fast.

My pet peeve may be odd but, as a floral designer, I don't like the word"fake" as far as describing wedding flowers.
Silk or artificial is fine...just not fake lol🤷
I cringe when I hear it...

I’m all for people snapping pics during cocktail hour because we’ll be outside finishing up with the photographer.

But JFC you can’t put your phone away for 20 minutes during the ceremony?! 😤

I heard that at the seamstress. I really don't like that. Its like go away if you can't be supportive. If they put as much effort into their relationships as they did bashing marriage they might have been successful. Ugh 😑

That's my biggest pet peeve also. Everybody want to voice their opinions about how you should do things for your wedding.

Yeah, I definitely held my bouquet too high sometimes. But that was to hide my wardrobe malfunction. Somehow my strapless dress kept folding down and I was showing more boob than I wanted.

I was seriously thinking I was the only person who had noticed that. It just looks careless and like you ran out of time.

Lol, so true! It's awkward to have people you don't know at your wedding.
