What is your #1 pet peeve when it comes to weddings? Mine is wrinkled linens. I've seen a lot of that in the pictures I've been looking at.

YES. I work with my FH at a welding shop and all the old guys are like "oh your life is over now buddy!" like WHAT? It's so annoying. We've been together for 10 years. I think if I was going to turn into a crazy person it would've happened by now!

I actually started saying to people "well i'm sorry YOU married the wrong person, but fh and I actually like each other! weird concept I know!" and that shuts them up. It is SO annoying.

I sort of agree with your "its my day...." complaint. Like yes, it is my day but also there are things that are expected to be done at a wedding and it's weird to ask people to give up like 6-7 hours of their day (plus travel if need be) and not try to make it worth their while to have a good time, good food, good company, etc. I wouldn't invite 150 people to do paintball and then afterwards have a random ceremony in the woods and then pass out bud lights to everyone because that's what I think would be fun....people would be hungry, hurting, dirty, tired, and thirsty and old people would not find that enjoyable ahahaha

I also agree with the whole "brides who plan the whole wedding" or "grooms who push it off on the bride" but I feel like that says a lot more about their relationship than it does just the wedding. Clearly in both situations, one is more ready for marriage than the other or else they'd be on the same page for the wedding planning.....(obviously everyone's circumstances are different. I'm just making a generalization..)

Uhg one of mine is the fact that people like to assume they are invited. I have posted general things on social media (probably a big no no) of just basic things like when I was holding the "I said yes to the dress" sign after my appt. People would comment on it saying they can't wait to see me walk down the aisle or ask me when the date is and where it is so they can put it in their calendars. It makes things very awkward. I had to tell at least 15 people so far that they aren't invited and its just awkward.

Hmmm....the inflation on wedding items. I went to tour one venue for the reception and they had a buffet package that offered more food items and cost $10 pp less than the wedding package. WTF.
