Wedding Photo Albums

Ashley, on February 12, 2021 at 3:09 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 5

So the package we went with for our photographer did not include a photo album, just digital copies of our wedding pictures.

I am looking for suggestions on some affordable places to have our album made after our wedding.

Do you prefer pre-printed photo albums or more traditional style of having each individual photo printed and placed/mounted in an album?

I would recommend Artifact Uprising. We got our album through our photographer, but I have several friends who got flush mount albums through Artifact Uprising and they were very pleased with the quality.

I’ve seen Shutterfly have some really good deals! Along with Walgreens and Walmart. For me I just bought albums and printed photos using snapfish

Our wedding hasn’t happened yet, so I’m not sure about wedding album yet, but we printed our engagements photos in prints from MPix and we just placed them/mounted them in an album. I love pictures in a traditional album. It feels more classic/timeless and sturdy to me. Photobooks pages are sometimes too thin for my liking.Wedding Photo Albums 1

I used Shutterfly for our album. I ordered their professional album and it is good quality. I feel like I got a good deal on it. Someone else on here ordered their middle album with some upgrades and got a similar album for half the price!
For our parents I printed prints from Walgreens and put them in an album. Which ever you choose is a Preference. My mom preferred actual prints so I went that route for the parents.

We also used Shutterfly and were quite pleased.

Note that the site can only upload about 80 pictures at a time, which I found out the hard way when the site kept crashing my computer as I tried to upload hundreds of pictures at once.
