Wedding photographer costs

It really depends on the photographer as to what you will get. I think that is a good amount of money that can get you a great photographer! We are spending $2000 on our photographer and we are getting a great deal with her. We get two photographers, her and a friend, unlimited hours of coverage, all the photos with total copyright and she uploads them to shutterfly. She is fabulous and so fun to work with! We're getting married in State College, PA. So, if you're getting married close, I would look up Ruth Harpster Photographer!

Most photographers are going to have wedding packages that dictate how many hours of coverage you get, how many photos you get, and copy right rules. Most of the photographers I looked at before Ruth were upwards of $2700 to $3000 to get a package like hers. However, I didn't find a single photographer with her copyright and print deal. Most photographers will only give you a few hundred photos and there will be copyright rules.

Our photographer is $2,500 for 8 hours and $1,600 for 4 hours. His packages include a complimentary engagement session.

Hey! i used Renee Catherine Photography. i found her on Wedding Wire she was SO sweet and so was her second photographer. i think her prices for 2020/2021 are different but she was VERY affordable.

This is super variable based on your geographic location and what your standards for photography are. I'm located in the northeast and quality wedding photo packages here start at around $3,000.

Our original photographer was charging $3K for 8 hours. We just couldn't afford that, sadly. (She was our first choice, by far.)

Our current photographer, who did my bestfriend's wedding, is charging only $1.6K for 6 hours. (Undeniably great deal.)
