Thank you so much for the response! We would love to stay around $1,000, but it seems that may be unrealistic for this area and what we are looking for. Our absolute maximum would be $2,000. We are planning on creating our own wedding albums and things like that, but we are hoping to have two photographers on site. Thank you again!

I've found a couple of photographer options in the WeddingWire vendor directory. It's a good place to look and always my first suggestion to folks if they haven't already looked on it. Most, if not all, of the vendors have reviews from newlyweds who booked their services and some of them even provide details on their prices and packages on their pages. Plus, you can filter through the results by options like price range and whether or not they have a second shooter, which is what I've done in the search below.

Photographers under $1,000 in the Boston area (Boston's the only city I know in Massachusetts, but you can change the location so it's closer to you.)

If you don't think any of those photographers are going to work for you, then you can change the filters to expand to a larger price range or whatever, but I figured this is what you wanted from the outset. It is possible, what you want. You've just got to look in the right places.

I think with your budget, you might need to look at students or photographers who are just starting out. Maybe you can look for a photography school and see if they have a message board where you can post something. $1000 go two photographers seems like it might be hard to find though...

Hi Shannon, if you haven't found one yet I can recommend to look up SanzPix on Facebook. He's is going to photograph my wedding and his prices are super affordable. Take a look and see if he may be your style. He also photographed our engagement session.

Not sure if you have found it, but I’m currently looking and found really good prices ar Lily and Lime! They offer completely customizable packages at an cery affordable price and you get to choose between their list of photographers available. Worth checking it out if you haven’t!
