Wedding Planner Books

Vanesa, on March 26, 2022 at 6:16 PM Posted in Planning 16 9

Hello Ladies,

I am in need of a Wedding Binder alternative: I am looking for something more travel friendly, something that can double up as a wedding binder AND planner. Any suggestions or ideas? What are you guys using to keep all the expenses, deadlines, appointments, etc organized?

Get a blank 3 ring binder from Target and clear pockets to add to it. GoogleSheets has a free wedding planning template that is about 10 pages of information that you can print out as well as access from any device. Print that out and hole punch it to put in your binder. The clear pockets hold brochures, business cards, paint chips for colors, fabric swatches, etc. that all your vendors want to see in person.

It’s cheaper and more efficient than any of the published planners.

I honestly just created an Excel spreadsheet and used that. Most vendors emailed me contracts and such. You can save all of it on a Google Drive to make it accessible on the go.

Paint chips can be found at Walmart or any hardware store. It’s a great way to put colors together.

Bridesmaid dress shops online sell fabric swatches. Azazie, Cocomelody, Revelry, etc

This is the book I used. I loved it! It was really helpful with the early stages of planning and decision making and I found the extra bits of advice helpful, too.

Do things your way. Whatever planning and organization method works best for you is the way to go!

There are smaller wedding planner books at Barnes and Noble. I purchased the bigger size for home and the smaller size for travel and when we visited venues and places to keep notes.
