Hello everyone. Our wedding planner who works in tandem with our venue (Hidden Hill in Morgantown, NC) has suddenly quit working at the venue due to "mental and physical issues with the job" and says in his email that he won't be working as a wedding planner anymore because he is "going to finish my degree so that I can teach." As such he has voided our contract and issued a refund. I didn't sign the contract because my Fiancée and her mother hired him without me. So I don't know what the clauses about termination say. I can't get a copy of it either. Question is, since he worked for the venue, should they be obligated to fulfill the role he promised even though we paid him separately than the venue? He worked for them and they facilitated the arrangement between him and my Fiancée. The wedding is in April 2020. She signed a contract with him in August 2019.
