Wedding planning blues

Mrs.evans, on May 7, 2021 at 10:38 PM Posted in Planning 0 10
Planning our wedding is exciting up until I lost a very important person in my life my grandmother had passed away recently just buried her on this pasted Wednesday. Then having ppls telling me how I should have my wedding. I'm already hurting that she won't be there but then my oldest daughter and granddaughter just told me today that will be stepping down from the wedding party. That was hurtful to now I still can't wait to marry him. So now we are in a crunch to find a venue my taxes are being held up because of these new tax laws. I want to put a payment on something soon and lock it down. Just in mourning blues any ideas to get my spirits up

I’m so sorry! This year I buried both my grandfathers and my fiancé buried his ALL 100 days apart. Take comfort in your partner, plan together, and look forward to the future together because at the end of the day you will be walking down the aisle into his eyes and no one else’s. Let everyone have their opinions but unless they are paying for their opinions let them be opinions

Aww I'm sorry for your loss and thank you very much for those kind words and sharing your private moments with me. And I'm trying to do that and go to work as well. But some days as you know are rough so I am trying to find my happiness in that. I will continue to pray that everything continues to get better. And I pray for thriving new babies for you and your husband
    Hugs ❤❤

    Hi Monique

I am so sorry for your losses. These have been tough times! I lost my Grandmother 3 days before I got engaged. I know the heart break & difficulty to have to navigate through so many different emotions. You are allowed to take time to mourn & you are also allowed to have joyous moments, remember that! Keep your head up, you have some time before the big day, so much can change & I hope your bridal party will come around to mend things. We have lost several family friends & grandparents since we started our relationship so we will be having a moment of silence in their honor during our ceremony. I also found this sign that we will have on a table with tealight candles & framed pictures of all of our passed loved ones. Smiley heart

Aww thank you so much for sharing this with me and yes it's been hard changing have been done 2 of my family who were in my bridal party has dropped out so I'm done to 2 now which im ok with now. But it's been alot some people in my family has said to tell me that all I talk about for a while I didn't because of what we've been thru. Now its something that I can be happy about. But if it's a birthday party them going out I can talk about that. It's crazy. But I'm still pushing forward. Hugs thank you so much

    Hi Monique,

I am so sorry about your family. I know its hard to plan a wedding in the middle of loosing such a dear person in your life. Please be assured that she is still with you every step of the way. I would give your grandmother an honorable mention at the ceremony. Please keep your spirit up even through this trying time and pray. I do believe everything will work out for you.
