Hi all,


September 30,2023 bride here. I am super overwhelmed with all the things that need to be done for things to go off without a hitch in September. Please give tips, tricks, anything you can share to help! I have a venue, DJ, and caterer already lined up. I am kind of lost as to what I need to focus on next, and what my big things to check off next are.


Any help is great!

    Since you have your venue, I assume you already have your guest list made out. Next, I would focus on sending out save the dates, if you haven’t already. And creating your wedding website. If you are having a traditional wedding, you will also need to find a photographer, videographer, hair and make up artists, cake baker, Florist, officiant, and bartender(s) if that is not included with your caterer.

    Your wedding is only 6 months out which is a very short period of time to get your other vendors. I was finding that vendors were already booked out a year before my wedding. You need to get on a photographer ASAP. As well as hair and makeup. You also need to look for an officiant

    Rough guest list is made! Save the dates went out last week!

    I have a photographer (just signed contract yesterday!) and we are not doing a videographer.

    Officiant is all set! Bartenders are included with the venue.

    We just signed on a photographer!!

    Hair and Makeup is in the works, I am going back and forth with one right now to iron out details.
