I am having a destination wedding in Jamaica in May on the beach. I want to create a fan that will serve as a program, keep sake fan for my guest. I have researched vendors;however, some want to charge me $200 to create a template for an order of 60 fans. That is outrageous to me and now I am trying to figure out how I can do this myself. Does anyone know where I can get the paper needed to create a fan as well as the wooden stick. Are there any wholesale dealers? If any of you know of one please send me their contact information or send me the store I can go to as well as the item i need to purschase. Thanking you in advance. Happy Sunday

Hand fans can be done for a lot less than that, it just depends on your selections. I suggest taking a regular sheet of card stock and splitting it either into 3 panels, or in half. You can cut the three panels apart and make the fans like Mrs. Watson with ribbon, or just fold the card stock in half and glue a handle between them. One couple spent $8.00 for 100 handles and had the programs professionally printed.

We offer unassembled packages as well as assembled packages of both the petal and paddle fans. If you are looking to DIY, the unassembled packages are a great way to save money without the time consuming cutting. The unassembled versions come professionally printed and cut, so all you have to do is put them together with an eyelet, brad, ribbon, or paddle. The unassembled versions go from $1.15 per program.
