Wedding reception during covid 19

What changes did you have to make to your ceremony and reception due to covid 19? At our wedding we had to reduce the capacity to 50 % and couldn't have the bar open due to the bars being closed in NC.

I just was talking to my bff about hers and she’s doing less guests, spreading them out and seating by household, making masks and sanitizers available, not displaying her cake, the buffet is not self serve anymore there will be servers, and she will have options for guests to denote that they’re social distancing (green wristband for ok and red for stay away) aha

We are at 50% capacity for our reception too (max 50 including us). Our ceremony is outside and we’ll space people out, during social hour (also outside) there’s no mingling so everyone will be seated and each table with get a small tray of appetizers and be served drinks. Our buffet is now being served by catering staff too and masks are required at all times when guests aren’t seated at their table. We’re seating by family group/household as best as possible and tables will be spaced 6 feet apart. We’ll provide hand sanitizer at high touch places like our alternative guestbook/art. I am asking all guests to bring their own masks, which are required in most places where we (and 95% of our guests) live so I know people have them (I’ll have a few on hand just in case someone forgets.)

We luckily have not had to change anything. At least not yet! I’m in Indiana.

We had to cut our guest list to 50 from 130, only the same household can sit together, social distancing, no dancing/DJ and masks.

I have less than 20 people going to be at the ceremony and dinner afterwards. It would have been 100+ but so excited for our union and we adapted and changed a few things ❤️

I changed venues to allow for more space with only about 40% capacity being utilized. Adding more tables to spread guests out. Going from Buffett to a plated dinner.

My best friend had to cut her guest list by 100 people (but is still able to invite over 100). Tables will be spaced apart and guests will be seated by household. There will be masks and hand sanitizer. No stationary appetizers for guests to serve themselves and other things along those lines. She’s also having it live streamed for guests who cannot attend.

We're setting up hand sanitizer stations in high traffic areas. My mom and I are making masks for our guests. We went from having a four tiered cake to having a small cake for the cake cutting and individually packaged cupcakes. Our caterer will be serving the buffet to the guests. We are also spacing our the tables and only seating household/families together. Our reception is happening in a barn with large doors, so we have asked to keep them open to increase air circulation.

Our wedding is this Saturday! We spaced out tables, seated by family/household/social circle. A table that fits 12 only has 6 people....
We asked guests to bring masks but brought 15 spare.

We cut our list from 150 to 50.
    Ceremony is outside.
We are letting guests decide dancing or no dancing at their own risk.
Food is served plated. Cocktail hour appetizers, individual boxes served to guests.
