Wedding Rehearsal Invitations

Rehearsal/rehearsal dinner invites can for sure be sent by text! I don't think you need any kind of formal invitation for it. Just be sure you include all the details (time, place, etc).

View Quoted Comment Those are fun! You could certainly send one of those as your rehearsal invites. The rehearsal dinner can be as fancy or as casual as you'd like! It could be anything from a BBQ in someone's backyard, to a pizza buffet at a local sports bar, to a plated dinner at a fancier restaurant, etc. Totally up to you and what you're looking for.

View Quoted Comment Usually just those who participate in the rehearsal/ceremony: wedding party, immediate family, readers (if you have anyone doing a reading during the ceremony), flower girl/ring bearer, ushers, officiant, and anyone walking down the aisle (grandparents, parents, etc). However, if you really wanted to include aunts/uncles too, you could do that. Sometimes, people also include out of town guests for the rehearsal dinner, or people might combine the rehearsal dinner with a welcome party if they have a lot of out of town guests or are doing a destination wedding, but those are totally optional.

Every rehearsal and dinner we have attended together or separately have been by word of mouth.

My sister is getting married in June and she sent a cute evite out as her rehearsal dinner invitation.. I think I might go the same route for my rehearsal dinner in September

Test or email/evite is totally fine! You can serve whatever food you like and have it wherever you want, as long as you're hosting it. The idea is to thank those that came to the rehearsal.
