Wedding rehearsal

How much decorating do you have to do and how early can you get into the venue the day of? I don’t think anyone can really tell you whether it’s worth it without having more details. I can tell you that one time I was MOH in a wedding and we helped set up the morning of. The bride insisted it would only take an hour. The arch they bought had to be assembled and we ended up needing to run home for tools/ask others to come help us and it ended up taking nearly 3 hours to decorate, which set us behind for hair and makeup and pictures.

Can the officiant come early on the day of to rehearse? Because unless you are seasoned with how weddings flow, you need to practice.

Like Michelle said - I'd make sure your officiant and ceremony musicians are available for the rehearsal, or I'd think about skipping it entirely!

And whether or not you need that hour for decorating depends on how much décor you have and how much time you have to decorate on the wedding day like Sarah said!!
