Wedding Reminder Email

Natalie, on July 17, 2019 at 9:40 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

We sort of send out our RSVP pretty early since is a destination wedding. So I'm a little worry about people may forget about it. I'm thinking about sending out an email to remind people in three weeks that wedding is coming and let them know about if they'd like to know more info can go on our wedding website. or if there are any last mins changes please let us know. Would that be weird to send a just reminder email?

I would find it weird. If it’s a destination wedding your guests have probably already made accommodations and I would assume they’re not going to forget about it.

Wait until the RSVP date has passed. Follow up with those whom haven't responded.

I agree with PPs! I'd only remind guests if they don't RSVP. There's probably going to be a few who forget and will appreciate your reminder!

My friend made a Facebook group for her destination wedding and it was so helpful with keeping everyone in the loop! I’d recommend that! And email those who don’t have FB.

If it's just an email, sure.
While I get that you set a deadline, a short but simple reminder won't cause any of your guests to flip out.
