I see nothing wrong with that! It shouldn't be an issue

I know there are some people who find significance with the barrier of the ring being broken (I held onto my friends ring for her wedding and she specifically asked me not to stick my finger through it while walking down the aisle etc.) but a lot of that stuff is steeped in superstition and as long as you don't have an issue with it, no one else gets a say.

I personally wouldn’t, but I also know that it really wouldn’t make a difference. It’s not going to make or break your marriage either way. If you don’t tell anyone, they’re not going to know when looking at your pictures later. I also don’t know how much your ring will actually be visible in most of the pictures either. So basically, if you and your fiancé are ok with it, it’s not a problem.

We're doing all of our photos before the ceremony, so that's exactly what I plan on doing. I definitely want the wedding band in the photos, so I'll wear it then, and then pass it back for the ceremony. We're both totally fine with that, and as long as you are too, I say go for it!
