Wedding Rings - Splurge or Save?

On my engagement ring we saved! i happened to come across it online and it was almost 50% off!!!! i fell in love and it being on sale was a huge plus for me. I love nice things for a small price

This is a save and a splurge. A save for him which left room for me to splurge. Didn't do it on purpose but he definitely liked the one we found (which took forever). My engagement ring is a bit uniquely shaped so after we FINALLY found something that matched, we went with it. I love it!

My FH spent a good deal of money on the rings....he's a jeweler so it became a bigger deal then it had to be

We have not looked yet, but I'm thinking this will end up being a splurge for us. It is something we will have for the rest of our lives. I know fiance will want something nice for me and I want something really nice for him...

My wedding band was custom because of the shape of my e ring so that was a bit of a splurge, but the cost of both of my rings together isn't too bad. Hes ring was a giant save that I always feel a little guilty about, but it's what he likes and wanted.

Saved a little. My ring was 5k. Bought it for $3,500 ☺️ FH was $500

Save. My ring was my grandmothers so it cost nothing. My FH's ring is pretty inexpensive although I haven't purchased it yet.

We had budgeted to splurge because we weren’t really sure what they would cost, but ultimately we needed up saving 🙌🏼

We both saved. Each ring was about $500.

Splurge - We did spend more on our budge on jewelry. We bought our wedding rings plus a matching set necklace, earrings and bracelet. However, we shopped smart getting 50% off wedding ring bands and 90% off my wedding jewelry set.

Save. My e-ring and band came as a set, and FH's was only $250! He loves it, though!

We ending up winning free wedding bands and my engagement ring was under $300 but I love it so so much. It's my birthstone auquamarine and 14k white gold. I received so many compliments on the color of the stone (its so beautiful and probably why I like teal so much) even when I took it to get resized the jeweler said it was beautiful. I bought a complimentary band that was white gold, twisted and had little diamonds on the band because my ring band was plain. I can only wear a plain band at work so our free bands will be for that purpose for me. They had so many choices and my FH was happy he could find stuff he liked as was I. We only have to pay shipping for the rings which is $50 total or $25 a ring which is a steal.

Deffinetly saved. We found our rings at KAY Jewelers and compared prices everywhere else and the cheapest we found in a jewlery store was $120 for each ring. I looked online at Walmart just to be a smart a** and it turned out it was a little more on the smart side because we found the EXACT same rings for a total of $45 for the both of them instead.

Splurge something i'll have forever

My FH spent more on my ring because he's staying with his promise ring that's stainless steal. He paid all of $3.75 for it. I've asked him multiple times if he'd like something nicer but he always says no. He tells me that it's not what it's made of that counts & he'd feel awful if he lost a nicer ring at work, whereas, if he looses this one, it's no big deal. Can't argue with that logic!

Both. I really like the look of the stacked rings so I would love to get 2 rings so that my engagement ring can sit in the middle, so that might end up being a splurge. My fiance is a mechanic and won't be wearing his ring to work, and he just wants a simple band, so his is where we can save.

Save. Maybe we will upgrade sometimes down the road. Bit right now we have different priorities!

Splurge. I know they're material things, but it's the one piece that we get to carry with us everyday, and that others will see.
