Save. Mine is a matching set with my engagement ring from James Allen (online vendor). His is a two-tone titanium band from an Etsy shop.

Save. Both of our wedding bands were less than $20 each on Etsy!

Splurge. It’s literally jewelry you wear for the rest of your life (if you are into that or sentimental like us!) it was well worth the money to have what we love!

We saved on ours. My engagement ring and wedding band and his wedding band are less than $500 total but perfect for us. I am not a big jewelry person and i didn't want anything hugely expensive because i have my hands in chemicals and bodily fluids all day (I work in a medical lab) all day and I lose things and I'm very hard on my jewelry. I would be heartbroken if I lost or broke or damaged my ring if it were hugely expensive. I wanted something we could easily replace when I inevitably do something to my rings...

    Mostly a save.

I wanted something plainer, because my engagement ring has a beautiful filigree band, and DH wanted something simple but big.

I found my ring at a jeweler's in the Bowery, DH found his online. He's also gone and ordered a silicone ring, as his metal is tungsten. He can't wear that at work or doing athletic things, so he's got the silicone one for those times for safety.

Splurged. We are going to wear it for the rest of our lives so I wanted us to get what we want and not feel held back.

I'm a jewelry and fashion girl so I had a specific look in mind. I told him my vision right after we got engaged so we were prepared for the the cost.

For my fiance, this is his first piece of non-watch jewelry. I didn't expect him to really care and thought he'd just choose a plain band but when he finally saw something that was unique and interesting he loved, I knew we had to get it because I rarely see him excited for something like this. (Maybe for new electronics. ha.)

We ended up spending a bit more than we anticipated but I separate it from the wedding budget. The wedding is one day. The rings are forever!

Splurged. FH was more than we expected at $2500 alone but he got what he wanted and my ring came as a set and was way more than what I wanted him to spend

I have absolutely no intentions to splurge on the rings. Gold bands will suffice no problem!!

FH splurged on mine $3,000, as he knew how much I loved it and his was $34, as he choose something he liked, however would have splurged on him too if he wanted something fancy.

My fiancé splurged on mine, but when it came to his he only wanted a silicone ring from Groove. He said that when he's at work it's safer to wear. He loves it.

I saved; he splurged! Lol, he bought mine as a set and ended up spending $4k. He insisted on a silicone ring and a black zirconium metal band for around $400

A bit of both? Because my engagement ring is an heirloom there was no cost there. FH wants a really basic, thin band so his is cheap but we’re spending a reasonable amount on my band.

FH insisted on plugging on my engagement ring and wedding band. He went really simple and inexpensive with his by his own choice. He said he’d rather spend the money on my rings. His is still really nice. I feel a little guilty.
