This is an older thread so I’m not sure if I should post or not. But I wanted to save and Fiancé chose to splurge. But that’s what he does. He proactively picked the dream ring so he wouldn’t have to upgrade later. 😅

Splurge! I wanted a band that had matching stones 3/4 the way around to match the small stones on my e-ring. I have zero regrets and can't wait to wear them together.

According to our comfortability level, I'm probably going to save and he's going to splurge. I figure I have a beautiful engagement ring already so it's not really fair to not "let" him spend a little extra on his one wedding ring. But I've always loved the classiness of a simple band, do I'm doing that. 😊

A bit of both! 😊 I saved by getting a solid gold band, no jewels. I splurged by buying the 14k instead of 10k but I didn't go for the platinum (which would have broken the bank!). My husband's band was a save all the way. I managed to buy it while a really good sale was running. It helped that he requested a tungsten band instead of 14k or 18k gold!
