We just picked out what we liked. It doesn’t have to match

My rings are diamond and rose gold, and his is gray powder coated tungsten. Super opposite, but they fit our individual styles!

My FH hasn't "officially" proposed yet, but we are getting married in 2 yrs. We have looked at rings to get ideas on styles and we already know that our rings won't match. We are ok with it because we each have a specific style when it comes to jewelry.

No, my sister and brother-in-law's don't match, however, their rings reflect their style and personalities.

Nope! My ring matches my engagement ring, and he just wanted a plain white gold with milgrain edging.

Ours are not even close. Lol. I got a silver twisted band with diamonds to matchy e-ring and he got a hammered metal ring with a koa wood inlay.

They do not need to match. My ring compliments my engagement ring. The ring he picked is completely simple and it was just his style.

I don't think they have to match - personally I like it better when they compliment each other. My engagement ring & wedding band are rose gold & my fiancé said he liked the rings with rose gold so we went with one that had white gold with a rose gold band in the center. I made sure HE liked it, because even though I'm partial to complimenting/semi-matching I still want him to like his ring!!

I haven’t heard of purchasing an enhancer and not using that as the wedding band. That’s interesting!

Ours do not match at all! His is black with blue and mine is white gold!

They definitely don't have to match! The only thing matching in ours is that they both have white gold.

I truly believe that the wedding rings should be a reflection of what YOU want them to be. They can match but they don't have to. I know for sure I don't like the same band as my fiance does and he doesn't want stones on his. Ours are even going to compliment each other. Mine is dainty and his is very manly and I love it that way. Do what makes you both happy.

No I haven't exactly found a ring I LOVE yet. My summer assignment is over so now I'm with FH in NY. Hopefully we'll have some time to go ring browsing soon so we can both get a feel for what the other one likes. Fingers crossed!

Ours will be matching but not matching. They're both based on a video game we love and met through but they won't look like they match at first glance due to the two characters they're based on having different color schemes.
