Wedding Rsvp- Guest Meal Option

My daughter's RSVP said to initial your food choice.

Hi Michelle!

Each individual guest on your guest list will have their own meal option if you have enabled meal tracking for your wedding event. You can make sure meal tracking is enabled with the following steps:

-Login to your WeddingWire account at www.weddingwire.com

-Click 'Wedding Website' from the top toolbar

-Click the blue 'Edit Website' button on the left panel of the screen

-Navigate to your RSVP page

-Hover your cursor over the name form on your RSVP page and click the blue tool icon in the bottom, right corner of the box

-Check the box next to the events you would like to enable meal tracking for

-Click the blue 'Save Changes' button at the bottom of the page

I second the PP who said initial meal choice

Out of 100 invites mailed out.....only two couples sent back the rsvp the correct way, meaning thier initials next to their choice. So on thier place cards we will put a cow on one and fish on the other. They can switch if need be.

Hi Julie! Our Guest List tool was refreshed shortly after the previous discussion. You can now edit RSVP meal options with the following steps:

-Login to your WeddingWire account at https://www.weddingwire.com

-Hover your cursor over 'Planning Tools' and click 'Guest List' from the drop down options

-Click into the wedding event you would like to edit meal options for, ie Reception

-Click the blue 'Settings' text on the right side of the screen

-Click 'Edit' under your current menu options

-Make desired updates and click the blue 'Ok' text to save

Did this ever get figured out because I would like to know how they choose their meal on the website as well.

Hey, I'm trying to add the meal selection on the RSVPs to kill two birds with one stone. Is there a way of doing this? I remember doing it for my previous big wedding attempt back in 2020 (thanks COVID), but cannot find a way of doing it now. Thanks in advance!

Here's how to add meal tracking with RSVPs:

• - Hover over ‘Planning Tools’ and click ‘Guest List’

• - Click the name of the event you’d like to track meals for

• - On the right side of the page, click the blue ‘Settings’ link across from the event name

• - On this event settings page you can enable meal tracking and seating charts, and also add / remove menu options
