Wedding Send-off

I’m starting to give some thought on what I want to do for our wedding send-off. If we have 100 guests, do I need a 100 of whatever I’m using for the send-off or only a certain amount for the photo op and involve only a certain number of guests?


This will determine help what I do. If 100, I’ll probably do something cheaper/easier (bubbles or ribbon wands). If I need a lot less, then I’ll probably do something a bit more expensive (LED balloons, LED wands and sparklers, etc). Sparklers/glitter/confetti are not allowed in my venue.

    I wouldn't buy one for every guest, especially if it's just for a photo op. Not every guest will participate because not all will stay for the whole night (especially if you have older guests). My suggestion would be 50-75.

    Thank you! That is perfect! I have a lot of time from now until the wedding so I may make a combination white LED/Fairy Light ribbon wands and bobo balloons. Thank you!

    It could be cute to do a combo of things. Say 50 ish of a more expensive option, and then 50 bubbles. Not all guests will stay or participate, but you wouldnt want to run out and make someone feel excluded. I think that lights from LED ribbon wands and bubbles would be a super cool look

    That’s what I’m thinking. I’ll be making these bobo balloons and LED ribbon wands. Sort of like these. I think a combo of them would look cute. The balloons will be annoying since I have to prep them like within a week of the event, but I can make the ribbon wands ahead of time.

    I would get a literal 100 just in case if it was something like bubbles since everyone could actually take one and blow it

    For bubbles for sure! But I’m hand making fairy light ribbon wands and bobo balloons 😅 I’ll have to blow up the 20” bobo balloons wrapped in fairy lights 1-2 weeks before the event so it’s kind of a lot. I am going to make 70 wands and 30 balloons though. My SIL said she’s help with the balloons and I can make the wands while binging on Netflix lol
