Wedding Shoes? Converse any body?

Any body out there wearing converse or sneakers on their bid day? I do not wear heels EVER! I do not want to go from heels to flats because I think it would ruin my dress. I would need it shorted 4 inches with heels, 7 for converse. My FH says sneakers are so more me. My mother thinks you need to...

Any body out there wearing converse or sneakers on their bid day? I do not wear heels EVER! I do not want to go from heels to flats because I think it would ruin my dress. I would need it shorted 4 inches with heels, 7 for converse. My FH says sneakers are so more me. My mother thinks you need to have heels on your big day (she is a shoe person)

I should mention the FH is wearing converse!

What are your wedding shoe thoughts? Heels? Converse? Whatever your most comfy in?

    We're having a beach wedding so everyone in the WP,FH and I will be barefoot for the ceremony and photos. Our reception is in a hotel ballroom, and FH only wears chucks so thats what we're wearing! The groomsmen, FH and I will be in chucks and the BMs will be in flats. Im excited bc FH got me a personalized pair in pink & white. I dont own a single pair of chucks so it was super sweet that he thought of this. That, and he didnt want me in stilettos on our wedding day since we're the same height. I get to be cute and comfy so its a win-win. Smiley smile

    FH are wearing matching converse on our big day. My mom hates it and about 4 months ago told me that she hopes we change our mind. Nope, sure didn't they are sitting in the spare bedroom right now.

    I wear 2 inch comfort heels to work. At my wedding I wore 4 inch wedges that were super tight but gorgeous. My toes were numb for 24 hours. Seriously.

    I'm wearing dressy cute white flats for the ceremony. For the reception I'm changing into white canvas tennies that I'm having all of my bridesmaids sign and write a little something at my bachelorette party. Just to switch things up, plus I think it will make good pictures. Smiley smile Do what you want to do and what will make you comfortable!

    Probably because I do so many weddings, I don't love sneakers with dresses or suits. It's not edgy any more. There are so many cute flat shoes you and the guys and girls can wear.

    That being said, it's your wedding; this is ONE place where you can do what you want.

    I'm in the same boat! I'm not a heel person at all and I only wanted to wear them for the ceremony than switch to cowboy boots but the same dilemma about the dress length.. My mom also wants me in heels... Honestly do whatever you want! It's your day!! Whatever makes you feel beautiful do it
