Wedding shoes

Mikalyn, on August 4, 2019 at 10:29 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 32

I cannot decide what kind of shoes to wear for my wedding. I usually do not wear heels but i also do not want to look informal. Also do I wear classy white colored shoes or do I wear a shoe that is maroon that matches my bridesmaid dresses.

There are formal flat style shoes. I got a wedge style shoe because I generally don't wear heels and didn't want to sink into the grass at my venue. I think wedge is a good selection for formal looking but comfortable if you don't typically do heels.
I'm a bit of a sucker for maroon and red shoes under the wedding dress. I think it looks super romantic. But if you choose white you can't go wrong with that either

How about looking into a kitten heel? They’re barely a heel but not a flat.

I’m opting out of heels simply because the last time I wore heels on grass they just sunk into the grass and made it had to walk. I’m trying to find some nice styled flats for my wedding, I’m thinking silver or some kind of off white color for mine in particular. My bridesmaids are cosplaying for my wedding as we decided on a interestingly fun theme. So, I didn't really have anything to try to match to.

I hate heels and am going with these sandals! My dress will keep them covered, so they’ll only be seen briefly. I don’t need blisters that will bother me on our honeymoon because I suffered through wearing heels 😉

I never wear heels so I went for bridal flats. Bella Belle shoes are a HUGE splurge but they are comfortable, so pretty, and offer lots of flats options!

If you're clumsy like me, flats are the way to go! Your shoes can be any color you'd like

Are your shoes going to be seen?
Because if not, it doesnt really matter.
    I'm wearing flats.
    1) Because comfort
    2) My dress is the perfect length. Paying more for a longer length dress and then paying for hemming it seemed dumb.
Nobody is going to see my shoes. But I'm hoping Disney and Toms do an awesome collab before then.

I'm wearing Chucks that match the bridesmaids dresses; and I packed nude flats in case I wanted to change.

I love these shoes. I have them in black and I’m not a huge heel person. These wore good to me.

I’m leaning towards flats because I want to be comfortable dancing after being on my feet all day. I don’t think flats are necessarily informal and i’ve Found some beaded ones that I’m really fond of.

For shoes I went with Keds. I've been wearing them for years they are so comfortable and they look awesome! I also like the idea of matching the bridesmaids! 🙂

I’m doing these but mine are nude since my dress is ivory and champagne. This brand has a great selection of wedding shoes (at Nordstrom’s) and they have kitten heels and wedges as well.

Flats can definitely be dressy! I had glittery gold flats for mine. I do love heels, but not only can I not walk well in them (and therefore would not have been able to dance like I wanted to), but I'm also taller than hubby in them. That usually don't phase either one of us, but I didn't want to be significantly taller than him on our wedding day.
