Wedding Shower Games

The word game is fun! Pick a few tab words such as wedding, bride, groom, etc. Give everyone a few plastic rings or clothespins. For instance, if your mom says one of this words and someone else hears it they get to take one of her trinkets. The most at the end wins!

It's really fun to watch everyone trip one another up. At one shower we excluded the bridesmaids as were "judges".

I've also done the one where someone basically hides the plastic rings or clothespins, so you have the chance to FIND them, and also steal them from people if they say the forbidden words.

I always love bridal bingo (bingo cards with typical registry items instead of numbers) winners get a small prize. We did $5 starbucks and Dunkin gc's at my SIL's shower and ppl liked it. This is also great for people who want to participate, but don't love the sillier more interactive games (like the ring one, etc).

I would be wary of doing more than 2-3 games though - they get exhausting and participation will definitely decline the more you do

We are doing the what do you have on your phone at my sister's shower I think.

I also plan to do a what age is the bride, but you could do bride and groom. I plan to get pictures of my sister from different ages and put it on a poster board and have people guess.

I like to do games/activities that people can do while they mingle such as the what age, or advice/mad libs, don't say the word games and then 1-2 actual games
