Wedding Signs And Such With Old Date

Has anyone who postponed used their signs, card boxes, etc. with their old date on it or just bought new ones?? We really want to keep them but not sure if we should. Maybe use it to be funny because of covid or just do it over??

You're absolutely welcome. I felt the same way that people would think we were too cheap or tacky but at the same time, these items weren't exactly cheap to begin with, ya know?? And it took me awhile to overcome the insecurity of using them until now. Even though FH kept telling me it would be fine. Now I'm more excited than ever to "fix" them 😂

Unless you legally married on your old date and are just doing a wedding celebration now, the old date doesn't really serve any purpose. If you were to use any of the signs/stationary with the old date I would find a way to tastefully cross it out and add your new date, as a nod to having to reschedule. Otherwise I would just replace them.

Obviously if there is anything super expensive that cannot easily be altered/replaced, you should consider the cost, but I don't really see much of a point in having wedding things with a meaningless date on them. One of the reasons we did marry on our original date was because my hubby had it embroidered into his suit and I didn't want to be reminded of the date that could have been every time we looked at it.

Definitely makes sense. Every situation is different so I understand where you're coming from. We're most likely going to "fix" it and move on.
