Opinions or matching vs mismatched signage. Like all wooden signs or all chalkboard signs, etc or some of each. What have you done or seen done?

Many times signs are overdone. Some couples are treating their guests like they are stupid. I don't need a sign on the bar that says "Bar". I can figure that out myself when I see the glasses, the alcohol, and the man with the apron.

Use signs where people actually need direction or explanation. When our parents got married there wasn't a sign in sight, and people managed just fine.

Yea you don't want any obvious signs it's a waste of money--- but I like the mismatched signs I think it is a bit more cutesy. Obviously it's all about your taste though.

Mismatched is fine. We bought all of our decor at flea markets so all of our decor fits together but definitely doesn't match. I think wood and chalkboard work together.

Signs are one of those extras, unless you really need to point the way through the woods or something to where the ceremony is located. I'm not sure if we're having signs.

I think mismatched is fine! Definitely don't overdo it, as others have stated above. For me, it's helped me to take a step back when I'm in the middle of this overthinking spiral and I ask myself "why do I want to do this?" A lot of times, I've seen people do it here on the forums, or on pinterest, and it's a matter of keeping up. But if I truly think it will help in any way or go along with the vision I have for the day, I go with it. Otherwise, it's best to simplify as much as possible and identify what it is that YOU want, above all else.

These are the only signs im having besides a small one at the bar listing the cocktails available. I designed and bought the prints from vista print when they were having a sale for $10.00 then bought the frames at michaels for $10.00, they were on sale bogo.

I'm super anal so I'm planning to have everything match perfectly. I'm handcrafting them so will use the same color, vinyl, font size/style, and same layout for each just changing the content.

I am doing a sign for my step son to be to hold when he walks down the aisle that say something like "daddy here comes our girl" then I want one that is telling guest to take photos and one for favors at the beginning of the ceremony. Etc. I am definitely doing signs. So
