Wedding Sprinkles

I'm never a fan of asking for cash or gift cards for any event. If a couple doesn't need anything for the home, they shouldn't have a shower.

I think I am going to just stick with my gut of nothing at all. We have been engaged for 1 1/2 years already, so don't feel the engagement party is right either. That is the nice thing of this I Do Take 2! We can make our own path to follow and not have to worry about how it is typically done.

It's your big day, regardless of the number, so doing what makes you happy and what you're comfortable with is always important.

How are the rest of your wedding planning details coming along? Are you having a bridal party and any other traditional (on non-traditional) details?

We have sprinkles in the south all the time. Mostly, like you said, for second babies. We are having this same conundrum. This will be my second wedding and fiance's first, but we've been living together for four years. We will probably end up having an engagement party here as well as an engagement sprinkle back home when we visit. Southern folk love to give gifts even if you say that none are required. We just want you to think of us when you look at your home decor. lol
