How much do you buy into this wedding superstition ?

This is another superstition that comes out of England. As the old wives' tale goes, finding a spider in the wedding dress will bring the bride good luck.

Would you feel fortunate to find a spider in your wedding day attire? Or would you consider yourself unlucky because you'd have to deal with a spider?!

A spider definitely would not bother me! In fact, it's highly likely since my venue is an old cabin and we are likely to do a photoshoot hiking up a trail in my wedding dress afterward.

Haha! I wouldn't be bothered, so long as I was able to brush it off and didn't find it INSIDE my dress at some point in the day.

No thank you! I mean if I find a spider I won't freak out and burn the dress or anything, but I'd rather not find one at all.

I don't think I'd mind, as long as it was a little one and, as someone else said, on the dress and not inside it. Spider bites are the worst (but spiders are awesome - they eat mosquitoes).

For some reason I believe a spider in the outside of a dress is good luck. I’d just try to gently fling it off though

Depends where on the dress it is. If it's at the bottom of my train, I probably wouldn't care so much. I wouldn't consider myself lucky though.

Well, I would have to burn my dress and find a new venue...that's the spider's venue now, not mine
